Biometrics and Transactional Secure Systems (BATS) is the foundation of Hoyos’ secured solutions providing user identity authentication that uniquely protects Hoyos secure communication systems and digital assets. The biometrics aspects of BATS are compliant with IEEE 2410. Simply, BATS is the back-end server that drives Hoyos’ secure communications platform and Hoyos Wallet.

BATS links the user’s identity, biometrics and device in a process called Genesis, to guarantee the user’s identity when performing a transaction. After Genesis, once an identity is validated, a unique client certificate is granted to each device for mutual SSL communication. All sessions are encrypted with 571 Elliptic Curve Cryptography. And for additional security, all BATS servers run in SGX processors protecting the memory of each processor.
